Pines Theater this Saturday!

The Pioneer Valley Family BBQ is Saturday May 20th. It is a family friendly rock show at the Pines Theater in Look Park. The park is located on Route 9 in Northampton MA. The event starts at 12pm and will go til 5pm. Holy Smokes of Hatfield will provide the food. If you have not tried this BBQ yet you are in for a treat. If you have well then your mouth has just begun to water. The plates are $5 and $6. There is a choice between a home made sausage saucer w/onions and green peppers and a boneless ribs plate. For the veg heads there’s a portabello Mushroom sandwich for $5. All three plates come with slaw and chef beans. There will also be root beer on tap. The park will be selling beer inside the Pines Theater to anyone with a few bucks and a valid Massachusetts driver’s license that proves them to be 21 years of age or older. The bands will start at 12:30 and run til 5pm in the following order: The Bumsteers, Fancy Trash, Drunk Stuntmen, The Stone Coyotes. Tickets are ten dollars and kids twelve and under are free. The profits from this event will go to Friends of Children, a local organization that helps kids deal with hardships. Local food, local bands, in a great local venue, it’s unmissable.
