Pioneer Valley Family BBQ
FUN TIMES IN THE TALL PINES
On May 20TH, 2006, head to the Pines Theater at Look Park in Northampton for a family friendly afternoon of music and merriment at the The Pioneer Valley Family Bar-be-que (PVFBBQ) from 12:00-5:00 pm. Sponsored by Holy Smokes, Off the Map Tattoo and more, the afternoon features musical performances by local favorites The Stone Coyotes, Drunk Stuntmen, Fancy Trash, and The Bum Steers. “As time has gone on, some of our fans have gone on to have families, which sometimes makes it hard to get a sitter to catch a show.” Said Drunk Stuntmen frontman Steve Sanderson. “We wanted to create a local event that would allow everyone in the family to have fun, in a safe, friendly environment with good food and good music.”
Local bands and businesses have teamed up to provide just such an event for the Pioneer Valley community, don’t miss this opportunity to have a great spring day with friends and family at the beautiful Pines Theater! 2001 saw the first pvfbbq as hundreds of locals and out-of-towners turned out to support this daring endeavor. It turned out to be a huge success with perfect weather and a great diverse afternoon of original valley-made music.
Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. Children under twelve and under are invited free of charge.
