Spring Training
Hello Stuntfans - As winter once again yields to our favorite time of year, and spring draws closer we can be sure of two things. The Boston Red Sox are hard at work in Fort Meyers, Fl, training and competing in the Grapefruit league as they prepare for their 2008 season debut in Japan. Yep, just like Tom Waits, baseball is Big in Japan.
The second thing, of which we can be sure, is that the first date of the Drunk Stuntmen’s State Fair Tour is less than a week away. They will kick off their tour, Monday March 17 at Dutch Treat, 208 Main St., in Franconia, NH. Showtime is at 9 PM. Come celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with us.
Dutch Treat offers a full menu including creative Dutch and American regional cuisine. If you are going to honor St. Patrick responsibly and decide to stay overnight, Dutch Treat also offers a full breakfast menu all day long.
To commemorate the beginning of the State Fair Tour, the show will be mixed and recorded live on 24 track tape by Mojo Music Studio.

A production crew from NBC’s Today show paid a visit to the Pioneer Valley this weekend to film a segment on the increasingly popular Young @ Heart Chorus. With cameras in hand, representatives from NBC’s iconic morning news program attended the sold out performance on Friday March 7, at the Chapin Auditorium on Mt Holyoke College campus, as well as a practice in Florence, MA on Monday afternoon. Bob Cilman, Y@H director, even got them to sing. Way to go, Bob! Also on hand for the video shoot was a representative from Fox Searchlight. The Fox Searchlight film Young@Heart, featuring our very own Steve Sanderson and Freddy Freedom, is due to be released nationwide Friday April 18.

There is a new segment on the Message Board titled Ask Bow. For the time being, Bow Bow, aka J. Scott Brandon, will answer any questions you may have about the Drunk Stuntmen, or any other subject for that matter. He is as hip as Ask Amy, and insightful as Dear Abby, but, thankfully, just slightly more reserved than that saucy tart, Ask Isadora. So fire away folks.
