Get Out of the Dodge Tour
Thanks are in order to our man Chris Jones at Middle Earth for making us internet movie stars. That's right selections from Drunk Stuntmen's appearance there on 3/16 are now available on YouTube. We may have taken time off from the road but that time was spent in the Stuntmen-Schmidt Doublewide hammering out a whole record's worth of new tunes. You can see some of the fruits of our labor performed for the first time live on said site. "Third Thing" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O6U4PYoW-wg is a rocker equal parts dark and inspirational with plenty of searing leads and cosmic keyboards. "StateFair/Underground"
http://www.youtube.com/watchv=nzgYtexLaZ4&mode=related&search=
is a combo of a new moody instrumental coupled with a classic pop-rocker that would have fit nicely on The Cars first record. There are Stuntmen classics including an 8 minute+ "Get to the Wine" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HCciTDyvzbI&mode=related&search=
as well as many more. The audio from the whole show is available
at http://www.archive.org/search.php?query=drunk%20stuntmen%20AND%20mediatype%3Aetree%20AND%20collection%3Aetree (thanks Charms) as well as chestnuts like the long out of print Mercury Lounge show from '99. If you weren't there, or just can't remember, we're giving you a chance to catch up.
And now some info on Drunk Stuntmen's "Get out of the Dodge" tour.
